#3452 - Synchronisation issues

Closed Bug? created by bacpartners 6 years ago

We create a list called "Small Test" in SugarCRM. We populate this with 5 defined leads. We create a list in MailChimp. In Admin, we set the sync rules to tie these two together and sync everything in the target list. SugarCRM shows 5 entries before Sync. After sync it shows 4,276 entries. This is a material difference we cannot explain. Please can you assist to resolve this and restore confidence.

    Hello Chris,

My best guess is that during the syncing process you are either checking the box to bring new Leads back from MailChimp to SugarCRM, or have the SmartList Setting on that adds 'ALL' Contacts to the Target List automatically.

    1. Did you have any people on the MailChimp List prior to syncing with Sugar?
    2. Can you send over a screenshot of your Sync a List page, particularly "Step 3. Who do you want to send to MailChimp".

This will help me understand what is going on. If possible, could you go ahead and find a time for us to look at this together. You can schedule a call here: https://calendly.com/fanaticallabs/sugarchimp-support

We will get this figured out.

    Best Regards, Jon
